Sopra Steria Group awarded Platinum by EcoVadis

Our group of companies has now been awarded platinum status by EcoVadis for the second time. This puts us among the top 1% of companies assessed in the area of ​​Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

EcoVadis is a provider of universal sustainability ratings that works with over 90.000 companies in around 160 countries.

However, EcoVadis not only ranks the companies in various areas, but also supports them in actively improving themselves.

The right process for sustainability

First, we were checked according to international standards, taking into account the industry, the size of the company and the country.
The evaluation is then carried out with a point system from 1-100 in 4 areas:

• Environment
• Labor & Human Rights
• Sustainable Sourcing
• Ethik

After benchmarking and comparison with other companies, the ranking takes place.

We did excellently in all areas and thus also in the overall rating and were able to increase our CSR score from 78 (2021) to 80 (2022).

All companies then receive suggestions for improvement and targeted measures to be able to promote sustainability from year to year.

How will we continue to improve sustainably?

From January 01.01.2023st, 100, for example, all of our locations will be using “Comfort Electricity Climate Nature”. This means that we will use XNUMX% of our electricity from environmentally friendly hydroelectric power plants.
