Torsten Klein, Managing Director (CEO), Partner

Torsten Klein is the managing director of it-economics and is responsible for the corporate strategy of the IT consultancy. He actively advises and supports customer projects with a focus on agile transformation in large companies and key account development. He began his professional career in 1998: Initially, he gained experience as an IT consultant for the financial services industry at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and from 2000 to 2002 as a freelance consultant, before co-founding it-economics in 2003. Torsten Klein holds a degree in economics and studied at the University of Mannheim / Heidelberg.


Tobias Fischer, Partner, CFO

Tobias Fischer heads the business unit of it-economics and is responsible for the financial, tax and administrative functions. He is also active in customer projects, including project management, software development and software architecture. Tobias Fischer started working as an IT consultant at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) in 1995 and worked as an independent consultant from 2000 to 2002 before co-founding it-economics in 2003. He studied computer science at the Technical University of Munich.


Stefan Schmid, Partner

Before Stefan Schmid joined it-economics as a partner in 2006, he gained more than 10 years of experience at Accenture. Stefan Schmid is a specialist for project and program management as well as architecture management of heterogeneous application landscapes. The computer scientist and business graduate studied at the University of Passau.


Klaus Wiedemann, Associate Partner

Klaus Wiedemann is Associate Partner and member of the Advisory & Sounding Board. He joined it-economics in 2017 as Senior Manager and has 20 years of experience in major IT projects, software development and in the development and financing of new technologies. Before joining it-economics, the computer scientist and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) worked for companies such as Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), BayTechVenture as well as for a number of start-ups and DAX-listed companies. Since 2019, he has been responsible for marketing and emerging technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).


Petra Ozimek-Zimmermann, CHRO

Petra Ozimek-Zimmermann heads the Munich office and the HR department. She strives to expand, continuously develop and retain the talent pool of it-economics. Before joining it-economics, Petra Ozimek-Zimmermann gained over 28 years of experience as Head of Career Development and HR at Boston Consulting and as Head of Human Resources at Schön Kliniken.
