The business magazine Focus Business and the business evaluation platform kununu rank it-economics among the best medium-sized employers in the category “Consulting” for the second time in a row.
An appreciative corporate culture, team spirit, further training – employers who want to be at the forefront in the war for the best employees have to come up with a lot of ideas. This is also shown by the current survey of the top employers in the SME sector by Focus Business and kununu. This is the third time that Focus Business and kununu have chosen the “Top Employer Medium-sized Companies”. This year, only just under 3,400 of the approximately 900,000 companies received the award, i.e. less than half a percent of the survey group. All the more reason for the companies, which are divided into 35 sectors and made it onto the list, to be pleased.
Transparency, participation and development as cornerstones of corporate culture
At it-economics, we have long placed great value on the fact that our colleagues are able to contribute to the company and experience appreciation. To this end, the company relies on the OKR management model, which allows individual initiative and participation. In order to develop further, each employee has a comprehensive budget for training measures at their disposal. And to ensure that a lively exchange of ideas and new impulses develop within the company despite the daily presence at the customer’s premises, regular company events provide the opportunity for professional exchange and to advance topics.

The research system
For the determination of the “Top Employer Medium-sized Companies 2020”, Focus Business and kununu examined more than 900,000 companies with a profile on the employer rating portal kununu. Companies from Germany made it onto the list with a minimum rating of 3.5 out of 5 points on kununu, with at least ten ratings, five of them since 2018 and a recommendation rate of at least 70 percent. Only small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with between 11 and 500 employees were included in the list.
